During his training here, he took one basic and one special course in radiation protection, and participated in two weeks of X-ray diagnostics in the Radiology Department.

For two weeks, Dr. Drobek worked exclusively in gastroenterological endoscopy section of the department to participate in all the diagnostic and therapeutic surgeries such as ERCP, papillotomies, PEG, tumor bougienage and lasering, and polyp removal in the context of esophago-gastro-duodenoscopies and coloscopies. He took full advantage of this opportunity to familiarize himself with the indications and contraindications of gastroenterological endoscopy. In addition, he assisted in eight rectoscopies, 21 coloscopies and 43 endoscopic examinations of the upper gastrointestinal tract. He independently carried out a number of the latter examinations under supervision.

In addition, Dr. Drobek independently carried out 78 ultrasound examinations under supervision, evaluated them and made differential diagnoses.

Dr. Drobek integrated himself well in departmental activities. His diligence, perceptivity and engagement makes him a valued employee among his medical colleagues and care personnel, and he is noted for a caring bedside manner.
